With over 200 models to choose from, BROAN® and NuTone® have added even more affordable models to their already full line of ENERGY STAR® certified ventilation fans.
 
 Broan-NuTone has packed its ENERGY STAR® certified ventilation products with a wide variety of features, performance, and styles. Whether it’s excess humidity, odors, indoor pollutants, or improving the overall quality of indoor air, there is an ENERGY STAR® solution from Broan-NuTone to meet any need.
 
The ENERGY STAR® lineup of NuTone ventilation fans includes models from the recessed fan/lights, heavy-duty models ideal for light commercial installations and offices, and new smaller and more affordable offerings. The QT Series includes fans, fan/light/nightlight combinations, and humidity-sensing versions. All ENERGY STAR® models use less than 10 kilowatt hours per year with everyday use.

What does ENERGY STAR Mean®?

According to ENERGY STAR® officials, earning the ENERGY STAR® certification means products meet the strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE). ENERGY STAR® certified ventilation fans that include lights use 70 percent less energy on average than standard models; these fans provide better efficiency and comfort with less noise and use high-performance motors that work better and last longer than motors used in conventional models. In addition, they feature high-performance motors and improved blade design, providing better performance and longer life.

Broan-NuTone offers various products to enhance indoor air quality, ranging from ventilation and supply fans to kitchen ventilation and heat and energy recovery ventilators. In the past year, the company has expanded its offerings of ENERGY STAR-certified fans and range hoods, strategically featuring them at national and online retailers and actively promoting them to home builders.
 

Noteworthy achievements in 2024 include: 

• Certification of 10 new light commercial ceiling mount and inline fans, further broadening the company's commercial product range. 

• The introduction of six new ENERGY STAR-certified range hood models offers consumers more energy-efficient options for kitchen ventilation. 

• They included the ENERGY STAR branding in online and in-store product marketing efforts. They conducted training sessions for approximately 5,000 retail and distributor locations to underscore the benefits of ENERGY STAR-certified fans. 

• Presentation at leading industry conferences, advocating for adopting ENERGY STAR-certified fans and range hoods among builders, including a buying group comprising over 1,400 builders. 

• Increase the ENERGY STAR logo's presence on the company's website by 42%, reinforcing Broan-NuTone's commitment to energy efficiency.
