HARTFORD, Wis. (October 2019) – The Home Ventilating Institute (HVI) General Membership voted on the 2019-2020 Board of Directors at the 2019 HVI Annual Meeting in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Patrick Nielsen, Global Technical Products Manager at Broan-NuTone in Hartford, Wisconsin, was elected to a two-year term as the Secretary of the Board.
Broan primarily manufactures residential ventilation products, including ventilation fans, range hoods, and H/ERVs. His responsibilities include codes and standards, as well as identifying future product development opportunities. He serves as Chair of the HVI Codes & Standards Committee.
The HVI Board Members are a driving force behind HVI’s success and are committed to transparent governance and strongly encourages each member company to take advantage of its voting privileges. Each member company is entitled to one vote per member company on all issues brought before the various committees and the General Membership.
